An Initial Consultation is the First Step to A Beautiful Smile

At our office, an initial consultation is the first step towards your dream smile! During this appointment, we will answer any questions that you may have regarding treatment processes, and teach you more about orthodontics. You will also get to meet our friendly team and undergo a comprehensive initial exam. This exam will allow us to determine which orthodontic treatment options are right for you. During your initial consultation appointment, we will:

  • Review your medical and dental history.
  • Provide you with a complete orthodontic examination to best determine your treatment options.
  • Perform a panoramic X-ray of your mouth and teeth.
  • Establish the estimated length of your treatment time.
  • Go over the investment for orthodontic care, as well as review all financial arrangements available.

The consultation appointment is meant to inform you of your orthodontic options, as well as answer any questions that you may have.  If you are interested in scheduling your initial consultation, contact us today!

Following Your Initial Consultation

After you complete your initial consultation, you will be one step closer to your new smile! We will then schedule your first appointment, where Dr. Joffre will perform your individualized orthodontic treatment, which may include applying an orthodontic appliance. This appointment unusually takes about an hour and a half to complete.

Scheduling Your Appointments

When you begin undergoing orthodontic care, you will need to visit us every four to eight weeks to ensure your treatment goes as smoothly as possible. Our team will work with you to ensure that your appointments are convenient for you and your busy schedule. When you call us to schedule an appointment, please provide us with dates and times that work best for you.

We understand that life is unpredictable, and sometimes unforeseen events occur. If you are running late to an appointment or need to reschedule, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance, and we will do everything we can to accommodate you.

Dental Visits During Orthodontic Treatment

When undergoing orthodontic treatments, it is essential that you visit your family dentist once every six months. This is because teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups are very important to ensure that your teeth, mouth, and gums are healthy. Our team is happy to coordinate with your family dentist to ensure that you are receiving the best dental care possible.
